All of our events require
full payment within seven days of the date on the booking confirmation or the place
will be re-allocated. No reminders will be sent.
All payments are strictly non-refundable or transferable
to another date.
Full details regarding set-up times, etc, are available by clicking on the "Venue
Details" tab on the left hand side of any page.
Any charges incurred by Lothian Events due to your bank returning your cheque, must be paid to us in full.
This is also the case for any PayPal Payment Reversals. If you send payment by post and do not pay sufficient postage,
Lothian Events have the right to charge a £10.00 fee to cover additional Royal Mail charges and our travel to and from the
reserve the right to refuse or cancel future bookings for anyone who does not turn up on the day. EVEN IF THEY HAVE
PAID THE FULL AMOUNT.
Only the items listed on the booking form and pre-approved are
permitted for sale or display. We may restrict certain items if they are already fully subscribed. You
will be asked to remove any items from your stall that have not been pre-approved.
On no account are any raffles,
tombola or any other fundraising activities to be undertaken without prior permission from Lothian Events.
nothing to be taped, nailed or tacked to walls at ANY venue. Blu-Tack is admissible but please make sure all residue
is cleared when removing.
Lothian Events and venue owners will not be held liable
for any accidents, damage or theft caused or experienced by any trader. Public Liability Insurance is your own
All traders MUST comply with the Price Marking Order 2004, which states that all prices
must be displayed. This can be shown on the goods themselves, on a ticket or notice near to them, or grouped together
with other prices on a price list.
All body products and cosmetics MUST have completed the relevant official
safety tests and show ingredients and batch numbers. Similary, all food products MUST display ingredients and
conform with all the relevant Food Safety Legislation. We will require proof of your registration with Environmental
You must arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the event
opening time and your stall must be ready to trade before the public are admitted. Strictly no clearing up before closing
Electricity is available at most events but is limited and not guaranteed.
You must supply your own extension cable and be responsible for its safety along with any other electrical equipment.
All electrical equipment must carry a current PAT Certificate (Portable Appliance Test Certificate).
size is usually approximately 6ft x 2ft. however, at some venues, the tables are 5ft. Any additional displays,
rails, etc must fit within the allocated space and must not block fire exits, walkways or cause any other Health &
Safety concern. If you are at all unsure, then we suggest you book a second place.
Tables are allocated by
Lothian Events on arrival as per our prepared floorplan. It is not possible to move you from your allocated table.
Outer (wall) places are allocated strictly on a first booked basis.
Our policy for inclement weather
If Lothian Events can make it to the venue and open up, then the event will be deemed
a "going ahead". Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for weather conditions in other areas.
